"People gather with the surrounding community to create music. It includes everyone, the objective is to share rhythm and get in tune with each other..."

Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart on drum circles:

The user(s) are limited in space and don't have access to a full recording studio, nor enough space in their home to make one. They enjoy jamming with friends.

The important thing is getting together to create something new.

These rings represent the music.

From listening, gaining inspiration, to making your own sound and sharing it with the people around you.

How can Rudie support you at every stage of this process?

By studying the Sound System culture of Jamaica, you see the modularity of the builds. To support the music in every way.

Rudie helps foster the bond that music creates. A place to display, setup, and play music, while keeping our space organized. We tend to move things out of sight and out of mind, but this leads to us rarely use the items.

Rudie allows the user(s) to gather with the presence of music filling their ears, but not filling their space.

The Modules*

Cabinet is designed for music appreciation- record storage, turntable and speakers.

Driver is a set of monitor speakers to play whatever music you choose, and coincidentally it pairs perfectly with Cabinet.

Crossover is a chest for equipment, with selective display technology, you decide what is seen, and what is hidden.

Woofer is functional musical furniture at its finest, a cajon, ottoman, coffee table, you name it and it will provide.

Mid functions as guitar/keyboard storage to fit all your biggest jams.

*By creating a modular system, the furniture can grow with you in your music journey. Whether you are a novice of a gear head, there’s a module for you.
